Prompted by the colors of the stones laid out on the central panel, an oracular poem is generated using the color chart created by English theosophist Charles Webster Leadbeater (1854–1934) as the reference point for associations. Leadbeater belonged to the occultist Theosophist Society, and associated each color with a feeling. The stones were collected from the Mediterranean Sea, the water divide between Europe and Africa. The use of Leadbeater’s color chart enables the stones to talk.
